I just purchased this yesterday and have tinkered with it for only an hour or so. This seems like a really valuable tool for learning guitar. I'm a beginner and it starts off perfectly for my level of playing.
This is the best shampoo I have ever used. My hairstylist recommended it to me 25+ years ago. I had a severe oily (and somewhat smelly) hair condition and was losing my hair rather rapidly. This product balanced my oil production, virtually eliminated my scalp smellm and my hair looks great all the time. No, I do not have stocks in this company. I am just a user and loving it.
Don't buy this game. This game was released incomplete and improperly tested. Story/characters/dialogue is corny, cheap, and cheesy. Loot is boring and unrewarding. You'll farm for hundreds of hours for 99% trash. The "Player-driven" economy has been completely destroyed by cheaters. Exploits, bots, hacks, and scams are widely used, and Blizzard does little to nothing to discipline these cheaters. Technical support is almost non-existent. If you are hacked or scammed, Blizzard will write you a generic e-mail claiming there is nothing they can or will do. Graphics and music are mediocre at best. Game mechanics have been completely dumbed-down to a 12 year old's level. You'll breeze through the first 3 difficulty levels then hit a brick wall in "Inferno Difficulty". You'll then be forced to farm for gold for countless hours to use the Auction House where the economy is completely inflated and corrupted. It will influence some to use Blizzard's "Real-money auction house", where you'll literally have to spend hundreds of dollars just to get an edge. CO-OP play is greatly discouraged because of flawed game-play mechanics. Chat channels are completely flooded with spammers trying to sell gold for real money. Community is horrible; forums are filled with angry, disappointed customers; rightfully so. Game-play is only smooth in between "rubber-banding", you'll start walking and it will glitch, pulling your character back to it's original position. Random disconnections take place. No offline single-player mode. No character customization besides gender and dye. Has no replay value what-so-ever. Looked forward to this game for 8+ years; HUGE disappointment. I am simply flabbergasted that Blizzard was capable of releasing such a poor quality game. This game would not have sold so many copies if it wasn't for Diablo 2. Diablo 3 is fun for a short amount of time at first; play long enough and you'll reach all the same conclusions. None of what I said is exaggerated in the least bit. Save yourself the money, the disappointments, and the frustrations.
We have spondy, degenerative disc disease, and spinal stenosis. I say we because when one person is in this much pain, we all suffer. Bought this for my spouse and rec'd last week. We already own all the other back gimmicks. Started using Thursday night and have used for 5 nights straight. This is interesting. My hubby said last night that the pain he has had steadily in his calf for 2 years was gone yesterday. This is for the first time since 2009. He was able to walk almost normally. He said it was a little sore last night before another treatment. To get relief for one of his problems would be monumental. He has not had a pain killer in three days. His lower back is also feeling better. I am almost in tears as I write this. I am too afraid to be hopeful. He puts it on the lower back for 15 minutes and the calf for 15 minutes. I believe the lower back is causing the calf pain, but we are not going to take any chances. He has chronic nerve pain and sciatica. I just figured it would be another device that would sit in the cellar. I am so afraid to be hopeful, but I am smiling up a storm today.
I've been using GPS programs for many years. I have used both on dash and laptop computer programs. The DeLorme Street Atlas program is the best GPS mapping program period. Nothing is better. And, it is very inexpensive. If you have a laptop computer you can have the best Travel Atlas program in existence for about $50.00. It comes with a GPS antennae which lays on your dash and hooks up to the usb port in your computer. It only works on Windows but if you have a Mac you can use VMware Fusion and run it your Mac. I also have a Garmin 2557 which is very good. But planning a trip on the DeLorme is much faster and you can see so much more detail. Click on your start location on the map or just type it in, then click on your destination or just type it in (on your full size keyboard-not hunt and peck on a tiny screen) and then Pick up one or more "VIAs" from the tool bar and place those anyplace you want in order to make the trip go exactly where you want to go. That's it! As you travel you have a full color moving map display the size of your laptop screen and it shows how many miles to your next waypoint, time to waypoint, time and miles to destination and much, much more. For flexibility, ease of planning and situational awareness you just can't beat it.
I have wanted to learn how to play the guitar for years, but I didn't want to take lessons. I tried books and DVDs and even other software programs. Rocksmith is the first thing I have done where I can see improvement. Like any method it takes time and practice, but the rocksmith games and songs, has you learning muscle memory and speed without even realizing it. It doesn't feel forced or repetitive and gives real feed back on performance without ever once making you feel bad for failure. I recommend for anyone wanting to learn guitar for the first time, or even for someone who knows how to play and just wants a great way to learn new songs.
I love the plushness of this mat and the color is beautiful as well. I bought it in the hopes it would be sticky, but I find that I still have to use a towel under my palm to avoid slipping. I don't like relying on a towel for this purpose, but if you don;t mind using one this mat is great.
