Fairly certain that the product I purchased is fake due to the strong alcohol smell. It still feels silky and silicony, but I've been purchasing from salons since this experience to make sure I get the authentic product. There seems to be a lot of Chinese biosilk floating around online.

  • Connie J. Manning - for hours of pleasure

I am only sorry that I came to these marvelous essays so late! I am a reader of literary fiction and memoirs almost exclusively so what a surprise it was to find such fascinating, well written essays in these collections. Who knows what one might be interested in until you start to read about it. An excellent writer can make you interested in just about anything and this is what happens in this volume and others like it.

  • Emilee Akey - No more sweaty, warm beer!

This is great! Forget the wet and sweaty cans. Ditch the coasters. Put your drink (beer!) in this coozie and your problems will be solved (more ways than one). This keeps your beer or drink cold, keeps your hands warm - well, keeps your hands from getting cold. And doesn't ruin your table! It is vacuum sealed. You screw off the top part, put in your drink, screw it back on and you are good to go. This will be a staple in tailgating this year or backyard cornhole. Would recommend, would buy again, and would give as a gift. Thanks, Cancooler! I received this product at a discount in return for my honest and unbiased review.

  • UKFigs - Some problems still not fixed

As my version of Quicken 2011 H&B has a) suddenly stopped connecting with my bank and downloading transactions again and b) will be sunset next year anyway due to Quicken policy, I decided to give 2014 a try, so far the problems are as follows:

  • eddiehamrick - Great content, very thorough, but the sample tests aren't very good

The Princeton Review Cracking the MCAT was an absolutely essential part of my study schedule for the MCAT. It was very thorough and a great help, especially the portions covering general chemistry from my freshman and sophomore years of college. The only negative aspect of this book was the practice tests that came with it. The passages were confusing and not like the MCAT passages at all. I received my lowest scores on these practice tests, while I received my highest on the official MCAT practice tests. I would highly recommend this book, but I would definitely spend the money on official MCAT practice tests.

  • Vicki Hsu - It has a good selection of essays

I'm using this to teach my creative nonfiction course this semester. It has a good selection of essays, across a wide range of topics and styles. My students are enjoying the variety. While the class didn't warm to Zadie Smith's contribution (perhaps a little too abstract for them), they did love "The Loudproof Room" and "Vision."
