The pace, premise and intentions were good. The people are horrible. They might as well have been teenagers...they were that annoying as they hammed it up for the camera. Very middle America suburbanites trying hard to be hipsters. Angela is the worst. So obnoxious and juvenile. At one point she puts a live octopus in her mouth and in the next scene complains that she doesn't feel well and says she thinks it was the baby octopus. So did she eat a live baby animal? There were way too many interludes where you see them traveling, being obnoxious in the car, trying far too hard to be quirky/funny/likeable, eating and talking about things with no substance or connection to the film. It was nice to see their growth at the end of the film, as they shared what they had learned but for the first 2/3 of the film I was frustrated that their knowledge seemed to all come from entertainment. They didn't even include a medium until the end of the film. Some of the "experts" being interviewed randomly throughout the film weren't even introduced.
This mandolin replaced half a dozen slicers and other accessories in our kitchen. Super sharp, it can quickly reduce anything into thin slivers. We've used it for all our garden produce - tomatoes, squash, zucchini, mushrooms, onions, etc. Changing the thickness takes just a twist of the gear underneath; the large circular apparatus on top is placed on top of whatever you're slicing to hold it in place (and save your fingers). The price is a little high, but we've found it well worth it.
3 times to the batting cages & sole tore off the bottom of shoe. Shouldn't need to shoe goo after 3 uses!
I purchased the Saitek Pro Flight Yoke, Power supply for the yoke, PRO Flight Switch Panel, and the Pro Flight Instrument Panel. I installed them in the order: Yoke, switch panel, and finally the instrument panel. All the accessories are connected to the yoke. I have everything working on a Windows 7 64 bit system I built. It is running an Intel i7-970 processor, 12 GB memory, 1Gb video, and a velociraptor 300GB drive system drive/mirrored 2Gb data drives. I'm flying with MS FSX. I have connected, reconnected, restarted, and turned off the system without any problems. I'm cautiously optimistic after seeing a few bad reviews. Over the next few months I'll be adding more instrument panels. I think having the yoke power supply and as much as possible plugged into the same USB port helps. Having a clean home built system without the vendor's and your kid's crap on it probably doesn't hurt either.
This is a great product! It didn't cause any kind of cramping, discomfort, or diarrhea. I I use it once or twice a day for perfect cleansing.
Maybe the regular Wii is just getting too old. I bought it new at a store, so the disk is fine. The game freezes at times and takes a while to load each song and dance. I only played Just Dance 2 and 3 before; this one is WAY faster and WAY harder to follow. I personally don't like all the online things, and I don't like the community dances (some of them aren't synced with the music very nicely) or that it spams me with messages about DLC, stats, and all that junk from the moment I put in the disk. It isn't as easy to figure out either. I couldn't really find a specific exercise option unless I make my own playlist. Plus, the overall color scheme of all the menus is just DARK...I almost feel like I'm picking music in a nightclub, but maybe that's the point? I'm not sure, but I wish the menu was a little less dark navy.
