Seems pretty good after I put an SSD in it....you know it's time that all laptops have SSD's as standard.....please no more 5400 rpm HD's!! Also upon removing the MB to install more memory I found no expansion slot...just 4gb of RAM soddered to the board. So it's limited to 4gb RAM. If anyone sees different please let me know. All-in-all can't complain for the price.
I am a power-user, visit too many websites, keep the computer always online via broadband, and typically turn it off only once a week. This is ideal condition for viruses and trojans to get on to my computer -- and they did use to get on to my machine. However, slightly more than six years ago I discovered Avira and also (not related) Zone Alarm Pro. The first one is an anti-virus, anti-trojan (which I am reviewing) and the second one is a firewall.
After getting the book for the previous series it was a no brainer to follow it up with this one - also an excellent product!
I lost one disk from my old set - had to replace it. It's The Wall. If you've never heard it, or experienced the movie, and you are into rock music, this is required material. I learned to play guitar to many of these songs, and recently, I've started playing almost all of them on piano. So sorry Richard Wright is gone - such an awesome keyboardist/song-writer. It's a shame that Waters had to be such a jerk, and ruined one of the best rock groups of all time, if not, the best. Everything he wrote with these guys was golden. He was the great lyricist, but by himself, it's all discord and anger. Add in David Gilmour, Richard Wright, and Nick Mason, and they turned his anger into beautiful works of art. Go back to Wish You Were Here, Meddle, and Dark Side to hear when these guys worked together in harmony. I still love The Wall and Animals, but the beauty of their earlier music can't be understated.
